Hyderabad, with its rich cultural heritage is a fine fusion of the grandeur of the past and the trappings of a modern, technologically vibrant society. It carries the legacy of the rule of Mir Osman Ali Khan, the Nizam of Hyderabad once considered the richest man in the world. Many centuries co-exist here; where the old city with its opulent architecture and quaint bazaars jostles with the software drive hi-tech enclaves and the dazzling array of shops, eateries and entertainment hubs in emerging Hyderabad.

Besides the timeless historical monuments like the Charminar and the Golconda fort, Hyderabad is also home to the spectacular Taj Faluknamma Palaces and the Chowmahallah Palace (which also hosts mushairas and concerts) museums, lakes and gardens. The distinctive cuisine and the world renowned pearl jewellery add lustre to the charm of Hyderabad as it emerges as another jewel in the crown in India’s growing tourism industry
